How It Started

We’re two lifelong friends and passionate boat owners who’ve spent countless weekends on the water with our families. Like many boaters, we’ve shared stories, swapped fixes, and laughed (or groaned) about the little headaches that come with the boating lifestyle.

But one issue kept coming up—those stubborn, outdated cushion snaps. Our wives, who love boating just as much as we do, finally said what we were all thinking:

"There’s got to be a better way to do this!"

That simple moment sparked a big idea.

 We got to work prototyping, testing, and refining a new kind of snap—magnetic, strong, and unbelievably easy to use. After a lot of trial, error, and fine-tuning, we started hitting the boat show circuit with our demo kits. The reaction was always the same:

"Wow! I can’t believe I never thought of this!"

It was clear—this wasn’t just a clever idea. It was a real solution that boaters everywhere were waiting for. Once we saw that spark in people’s eyes—time and time again—we knew it was time to dive in.

That’s how It’s a SNAP!! was born.

Designed as a quick and easy retrofit for existing boat cushions, our magnetic snap system eliminates the frustration and finger-pinching of traditional snaps. No more awkward struggling. No more calling in the 1st mate for help. Just a smarter, smoother way to enjoy your time on the water.
