It’s a Snap Pro XL is our upgraded marine magnetic fastening system designed to keep boat cushions securely in place without the hassle of traditional snaps.

Designed as a retrofit for many existing boat cushion setups, Pro XL uses powerful N52 neodymium magnets to create a strong magnetic connection between your cushion and boat. Once installed, cushions are easier to remove and secure, so you can spend less time fighting with snaps and more time enjoying the water.

Materials & Construction

Magnets: High-strength N52 neodymium magnets fully coated and protected with white epoxy.

Hardware: #8 x 3/4" marine-grade stainless steel screws.

Protective Caps: Magnet C2 is enclosed by a white protective cap system for added protection and a clean, finished appearance.

Magnet A | Cushion Side

• 1-1/8" diameter

• Fits into the existing traditional snap on the underside of the cushion

Magnet C2 | Deck Side

• 1-1/8" diameter
• 3/16" thick
• Countersunk center for screw installation
• Replaces the existing deck snap

How Does It Work?

1. Cushion Side
Magnet A fits directly into the traditional snap on the underside of your cushion. Test the system before using adhesive. Once you are comfortable with the fit and application, secure Magnet A inside the snap with an appropriate marine-grade adhesive (not included).

2. Deck Side
Remove the existing traditional deck snap and install Magnet C2 using the included stainless steel screw and protective cap system. A small amount of marine-grade silicone can be used during installation to help secure and seal the deck-side connection.

3. Connect
Place the cushion back into position and Magnet A connects with Magnet C2, creating a strong magnetic fastening point without having to line up and press traditional snaps together.

Helpful Installation Tips

Twist and lift when removing cushions.
Because Pro XL uses stronger N52 magnets, avoid pulling the cushion straight up against the full magnetic force. Instead, twist and lift to release the connection more easily.

Secure Magnet A after test-fitting.
The stronger magnetic connection may pull Magnet A out of the cushion snap if it has not been permanently secured. Test everything first, then use marine-grade adhesive once you are happy with the application.

Install Magnet C2 correctly.
The countersunk side should face up. Look for the red indicator line to identify the correct side.

Don’t overtighten.
Tighten the deck-side screw until secure without overtightening, as excessive pressure can crack the magnet.

Will Pro XL Fit My Boat?

Pro XL is designed to retrofit many common boat cushion snap systems, but boat hardware is not universal.

Before ordering, keep these compatibility points in mind:

• Cushion snap dimensions and rivet depth can vary.
• Older, worn, or replacement snaps may fit differently.
• Pro XL includes #8 x 3/4" screws, but existing deck holes and hardware can vary.
• Any alternative screw must properly fit within the countersunk opening of Magnet C2.
